Tax optimisation has always been a popular recreational activity here in the Czech Republic. The Aussies and Kiwis among us probably also have happy memories from the past of amusing schemes involving racehorses, macadamia nut farms and film investment. Is Tax optimisation still a thing?

However, as we all know, the rules of the game have changed dramatically - not least since the arrival of the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive. At our seminar, we will hear from tax expert Tomáš Hlaváček. He will share with us how the line between what is acceptable and what is not has moved. He will share some interesting case studies to help us learn what we need to do to make sure stay on the right side of that line - while at the same time legally structuring our affairs to pay as little tax as is (legally) possible.

 

As with all such events this will be highly interactive and a lot of fun!

 

The event will be held in the meeting room on Level 5 of the Dabricon offices in the YMCA Building at

The event will be held immediately following the ABIE general meeting, which starts at 17.00 and which should finish at around 17.20. The AGM is not restricted exclusively to members and we will be presenting our Annual Report. So even if you are not a member, if you would like to attend that part of the evening please feel free to do so.

 

Following the event there will be an opportunity for Q&A and networking supported by our usual background of excellent New Zealand and Australian Wine.
