The jewel in the Melbourne Cup Carnival, the Lexus Melbourne Cup is a truly spectacular event as the greatest thoroughbreds from around the world gather at Flemington Racecourse and battle it out for a stake of the A$7.3 million prize money and the chance to cement their names in history.

The German Australian Business Council, together with our partners, Australien Shop Frankfurt, Visit Victoria and Victoria Racing Club, invite you to join us for an evening reception to celebrate this iconic event in Melbourne’s sporting calendar.

 

 

 

This business networking event will feature a delayed telecast of the Lexus Melbourne Cup, supported by a sweepstake with prizes.

 

 

Dress code: Business with Melbourne Cup accessories such as fascinators, hats, or pocket squares. Prizes will be given for best dressed woman and best dressed man.

 

 

 

Please note numbers are limited and the German Australian Business Council members will be given priority.

Recently, Perth-based company Volt Resources Limited re-started their graphite mine in Ukraine and in a recent webinar on 23 May, organised jointly with our member company DGWA, we were able to learn about the logistic and personnel challenges faced by the  Zavalievsky Graphite company in their operations.
