SPEAKERSFrank Ribuot I President of Groupe Randstad France et Groupe Ausy
Frank Ribuot has built his career in human resources primarily in Asia Pacific. A graduate of Kedge Business School, Frank was appointed as the President for the French operations of the Randstad Groupe (Randstad, Expectra, Monster, Appel Medical, HRCP) as well as the global operations of the Ausy Group in March 2020. This represents more than 12,000 employees, 70,000 temporary workers and over 30,000 permanent placements per year. He commenced his career in England as a Recruitment Advisor in London before moving into management. He was appointed Country Director of Malaysia in 1994. In 1999, he became Director of Operations for New South Wales and was based in Sydney after obtaining permanent resident status in Australia. He holds dual Franco-Australian nationality.
Frank left France in 1991 upon graduation with the Adecco group in the UK, Malaysia and Australia. In 2000, Frank joined Cartus Corporation and was promoted to Vice-President of the Asia-Pacific zone based in Singapore.
In 2006, Frank was appointed Senior Vice-President of the Asia-Pacific region at Right Management which specialises in outplacement and human resources consulting.
He joined the Randstad group in 2014 as CEO in charge of the group’s activities in Australia. His responsibilities soon expanded to cover New Zealand, South East Asia and India. Under his leadership, this zone experienced strong growth and represented more than 3000 employees, 70,000 temporary workers and more than 12,000 permanent recruitments per year. He was also President of the French Australian Chamber of Commerce.
Since his return to France, Frank has been nominated as a Conseiller du Commerce extérieur de la France (CCEF) and has been elected as a member of the MEDEF 93+94 and the ABIE France boards.
Frédéric Calinaud l Lawyer and Partner, Calinaud David Avocats
Frédéric Calinaud is a French Qualified Lawyer (Avocat) registered with the Paris Bar Association. He specialises in French employment law and has been advising French and foreign companies and organisations (including Australian companies and the Australian government) on their employment law related matters for 15 years. He also represents them in Court in the scope of employment litigation matters.
Before co-founding Calinaud David Avocats law firm, where he manages the Employment law practice, he has worked in major French law firms such as Cotty Vivant Marchisio & Lauzeral, August Debouzy and CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre. He has also worked in a law firm and at the French Consulate, in Sydney, Australia, where he also studied at the University of Sydney.
Frédéric holds a Master in French Employment law from Sorbonne University, Paris.
Frédéric has been involved in various Australia related projects for more than 10 years, such as a cooperation project between the Paris Bar Association and the Law Society of New South Wales (of which he is also an associate member) and cooperation projects between the Paris Bar School (where he is a lecturer for foreign lawyers) and various Australian universities.
Frédéric has been a Board member of the association ABIE – Australian Business in Europe, France, since 2011 and the Secretary since 2017.
