The German Australian Business Council is pleased to invite members and friends to one of the highlight events of the year, a dinner in Munich with H.E. Philip Green OAM, Australian Ambassador to Germany. Mr Green will address us on the status of the negotiations for the EU-Australia Free Trade Agreement. We will also hear Brian Martin, Head of G3 Economics Europe, ANZ Bank talking about the future of sustainable EU-Australian trade co-operation.

Breakfast Briefing with the Australian Embassy, Frankfurt

Business Council Chair, Sabine Pittrof had the pleasure of attending a reception in honour of the Prime Minister of Australia, The Hon. Anthony Albanese in Berlin on 10 July 2023. The Prime Minister spoke about the importance of the relationship of Australia & Germany and their strong business relations.

Recently, Perth-based company Volt Resources Limited re-started their graphite mine in Ukraine and in a recent webinar on 23 May, organised jointly with our member company DGWA, we were able to learn about the logistic and personnel challenges faced by the Zavalievsky Graphite company in their operations. CEO Prashant Chintawa and Trevor Matthews, Director of Volt Resources, together with Roman Saramaga, CEO of Zavalievsky Graphite, reported on their activities.
