Webinar Invitation: "Reaching your PB" - Observations & Conversations on Resilience, Mental Fitness & Performance

Tuesday, May 18, 2021

Published on 04.05.2021 by The Australian Swiss Chamber of Commerce

Featuring Alisa Camplin, former Australian Olympic Gold Medallist

Webinar Invitation:

Mental health – it’s a topical issue, especially in these pandemic times. Talking about it is not often a priority, particularly in the workplace. For many, it can be uncomfortable, confusing or even seem irrelevant – but anyone can be affected by mental health issues - our partner, a family member, your friend, a colleague.

Join our panelists, Alisa Camplin and Hadleigh Fischer, as we hear about their journeys that brought them to what they are passionate about today – mental fitness, resilience and performance.

Drawing from their own personal experiences, Alisa and Hadleigh will provide practical and tangible tools and techniques, as well as new approaches that people can use in their daily life – not just in the workplace – to learn to identify mental health issues as well as support and empower themselves and others.

Speakers:

Best known for winning Australia's first ever Winter Olympic Gold Medal in Freestyle Aerial Skiing in 2002, Alisa Camplin is a respected leader in Australian business, sports administration and corporate governance.

Alisa spent 16 years as a global executive with IBM and today, she is a highly experienced non-executive director working across the sectors of sport, health, government, education and philanthropy.

An in-demand keynote speaker and corporate consultant, Alisa assists both small and large organisations to achieve repeatable sustainable success through a focus on resilience, mindset and improved human performance. Alisa holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and a Doctorate from Edith Cowan University; she is a Member of the Order of Australia and co-founder of the Charity, Finnan's Gift.

Hadleigh Fischer is the Founder & CEO of Resilience Agenda, an international mental health social enterprise established in 2016 aiming to change the meaning of mental health.

Hadleigh's mission is to inspire people to think of their Mental Fitness just like their physical fitness. He now demystifies mental health for organisations looking to take a new approach to mental health awareness through his popular Mental Fitness talks and courses. He is the author of the best-selling Resilience Agenda Mental Fitness Diary and an instructor trainer and book editor for Mental Health First Aid Switzerland. Prior to Resilience Agenda, Hadleigh spent 10 years in the corporate world in Executive Search.

Please register below and login details will be forwarded 24 hours prior to the event. All proceeds from the event will benefit Finnan's Gift, a charity established by Alisa Camplin to raise awareness of congenital heart disease, with funds supporting the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
